Winter Holidays are approaching fast and I can’t think of a better occasion to share with you one of my favorite iOS apps.

Kitchen Stories is a little piece of software that will directly improve your cooking skills and impact the wellbeing of your entire family.

Kitchen Stories is free in the App Store and an additional reason to download it now, is that it comes with an impressive recipe list, called Holiday Selection.

It’s available as an in-app purchase for as low as $0.99. This is a (RED) product and all earnings are donated by Apple and the app developers for the fight against AIDS.

How To Use Kitchen Stories

The home screen consists in a timeline of recipes, which can be browsed, searched or filtered. If you resist the initial temptation of accessing the first recipe that you lay your eyes on, you can tap the yellow Filter button available in the top right corner and you can select what type of recipes you wish to browse.
There are five big filtering sections: Category; Ingredient; Calories; Duration; Recipe Package.
