iOS 15.7.3 update
Apple has released iOS 15.7.3 and iPadOS 15.7.3 build number 19H307 for iPhone 6s, 7 and SE (1st gen) as well as iPad Air 2, mini (4th gen.) and iPod touch! It brings security fixes for devices not compatible with iOS 16.
iOS 15.7.3 Update
This release is available over-the-air in Settings -> General -> Software Update, on all iOS 15 compatible iPhone that can’t be updated to iOS 16!
Tap Download and Install, provide device passcode and be patient until the update is requested, downloaded, prepared, verified and installed!
iOS 15.7.3 Security Fixes
This incremental 15.7 release focuses on on “important security updates and is recommended for all users.”.
It aims to bring security patches added to iOS 16.3 to devices unable to run the latest iOS generation.
Tip: all 5 vulnerabilities patches in this release are mentioned in Apple’s security document.

After installing 15.7.3 on iPhone 7. Phone overheating, battery discharging and Touch ID no longer working. I’ve had a new battery installed but phone still discharging very quickly and Touch ID not working.
Thanks for reporting. You’ve been on 15.7.2 before it? When was the new battery installed? Before installing 15.7.3 or after?

In this case it might be a hardware issue. I assume that the new battery is an aftermarket one.
Battery drain fast
Shockingly erratic phone behaviour including battery showing 1% charge within few minutes of full charge then reversing the position immediately on inserting charging cable. Phone almost unusable for several day though some sign of slight improvement now.Occurred straight after update and not improved by reset or clearing Apps etc. Battery said to be ok.
What iPhone model are you using? Does it us an aftermarket replacement battery?

Desde que atualizei meu iPhone 7 pois para a versão 15.7.3 ele passou a ter bugs não funcionando áudio e chamadas do WhatsApp, no Instagram áudio e postagem e gravação de vídeo, e da câmera para foto e vídeo algo que antes da nova atualização funcionava perfeitamente
mine is no longer working , it blocks , my id touch does not work , my screen freezes, i cant call ppl and pll cannot call me , the phone gets so hot and it was perfectly normal before that , the battery says it’s 5% and then changes into the real number and it drops so fast.
Greetings, iam facing an issue of WhatsApp status missing/not showing after updating my 7 plus to 15.7.3
Ever since the update I suddenly have not been able to hear any ringing or sound at all on incoming or outgoing calls. My speakers are still functional (I can hear all other music and notifications), it is not Bluetooth connected and not on headphones mode. Incredibly frustrating
