Apple is experiencing issues with its stock Weather app for iOS. The app broke on three occasions within a month. The last time it happened on May 9th when the service was very slow or simply unavailable for many users.

Apple acknowledged the problem on the System Status page and fixed it a couple of hours later.

However, while outages can happen to anyone, more worrisome are reports that complain about the Weather forecast being not accurate, in some cases way off.

For example, this Reddit user shows a clear sky outside his window, while the iOS Weather app is forecasting thunder storms!

The thread has received lots of traction, with numerous other users confirming that lately Weather app is not performing as it used to be.

After the absorption of Dark Sky, one would expect it to become the best weather app on the market. However, something seems to have gone terribly wrong.
