“Watch face shrinks and displays as minimized in the center of the screen.”
We couldn’t replicate it but have found a similar report on Reddit:

Wondering why your Apple Watch Face is so small? It seems that watchOS 9 glitches out and remains stuck to the size used when it’s showcased in the Edit menu!
How To Fix Apple Watch Mini Watch Face
Apparently, you can solve this glitch with the help of an Apple Watch restart!
However, this workaround might be temporary, as the problem will reoccur sooner or later.
We recommend you to force restart your watchOS device:
- Simultaneously press & hold the Digital Crown + Side Button until the Apple logo is displayed on the screen.
- Release, and be patient until your wearable reboots and displays the Watch Face.
