Lamborghini has just launched a new supercar. It’s called the Huracán EVO RWD Spyder and is able to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3,5 seconds. It’s naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 engine can develop 610 HP (449 kW) at 8,000 revs. It’s top speed is 324 km/h (201 mph) and the maximum torque of 560 Nm is achieved at 6,500 rpm. This Italian supercar fits in to the Euro 6 (LEV 3) emission class. But one more special thing about it, is that the Huracan Spyder is the first car that has been launched digitally.

The Italian manufacturer was forced by the COVID-19 pandemic to either postpone the launch or do it digitally. Lamborghini has decided to partner with Apple and has just released its 2020 supercar. Every iPhone and iPad user can take a close look at it with the help of the AR technology and the iOS AR Quick Look feature. Thanks to Augmented Reality you can now review this new supercar, in real size, from the comfort of your couch, without needing to leave your home during the coronavirus pandemic. Here is what you have to do:
how to project the Lamborghini Huracan in AR on iPhone 1. Open your iPhone / iPad camera and scan the QR code provided nearby or tap this link to open the official Lamborghini Huracan web page.
2. Tap the “See in Augmented Reality” option.
3. Move your iPhone around until the supercar is displayed in the Camera’s viewfinder.
4. Pinch to enlarge or minimize the scale of the display. You can go as high as 1:1 ratio and project the Lamborghini in your garage.
Tip: You can twist the car and view it from all angles. Zoom-in to check the interiors. Screenshot or video record your iPhone to share your AR Projection and showoff on social media.

Requirements: For this AR trick to work you need to run iOS 11 and later. You also need a terminal with an A9 chip or later. This means that every iPhone 6 or later, iPad Pro, iPad‌ (5th generation and later), ‌iPad‌ mini (5th generation or later), iPad Air (3rd generation), and iPod touch (7th generation).

Fact: Lamborghini mentions that the AR Quick Look feature that premiered today with the Huracan EVO model will become soon available for its entire range of cars available for sale.
