The HomePod is Apple’s wireless smart speaker. Many consider it the best-sounding smart speaker on the market. It can be controlled with the help of Siri and it’s worth the money if you own an iPhone or iPad and are or plan to be an Apple Music subscriber. As the case with iOS smartphones, macOS computers, Apple Watch and Apple TV, the HomePod is also receiving software updates that improve the user experience and add new features.

5 Steps To Upgrade HomePod Software
1. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the Home icon, available in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Fact: If you have multiple homes set up, you have to tap on Home Settings, before reaching Step 3.
3. Scroll for Software Update.
4. Swipe-down on the Software Update screen to refresh.
5. Tap Install if the device finds an updated software version for your HomePod.

HomePodOS 13.4.5 Update
At the time of writing Apple has recently released software version 13.4.5 for the HomePod. It comes alongside iOS 13.5 and the release notes advertise it as bringing general improvements for stability and quality. There are no new features announced.
