iOS 11.2 Developer beta 2.

Apple has just released the 2nd beta of the upcoming iOS 11.2 to all compatible devices. The company already seeded Beta 2 for the iPhone X on Friday, to help early adopters to set up their 4-figure investment, with the help of backups made on older iPhone models, that were already updated to the initial iOS 11.2 test version. Today’s release is currently available only for Developers but we expect Apple to seed it any moment now to Public Beta testers too.

iOS 11.2 brings a fix for the Calculator app bug that misses inputs when you type numbers in quick succession, makes the official iPhone 8 exclusive wallpapers available to all devices, adds support for AirPlay 2 and more. This 2nd beta also introduces a new discounted pricing option for iOS app developers, for the first payment of an auto-renewable subscription.

How To Install iOS 11.2 Beta 2
If you already run the initial test version, this 2nd beta is available over-the-air in the Settings app. Else, you have to install the iOS Beta Configuration Profile from your Apple Developer account. If you’re not developing iOS apps but are still interested in testing this new firmware you can use this workaround to install the configuration profile for free.
With the profile installed, browse for Settings -> General -> Software Update and upgrade to iOS 11.2 Beta 2.

Tip: Not a beta tester? Is your iPhone or iPad upgraded to the latest official release, iOS 11.1?
