iOS 13 to be released on September 19.

Apple has just announced, during its September 10 Apple Special event, that iOS 13 will be rolled out to the public, Thursday, September 19, 2019. The 13th iOS generation will be already packed within the 2019 iPhone flagships, while all other compatible iPhones can be updated, over-the-air, starting with the above mentioned date. The release date is one day before the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max flagships become available in stores.

iOS 13 brings a series of handy new features to your iPhone. Starting with the highly anticipated Dark Mode and continuing with the redesigned Volume HUD, which is a more than necessary updated. A new Signup with Apple feature that enhances your privacy. Worth mentioning is also the new lyrics on screen feature found in Apple Music as well as the Night Mode Camera feature that was highlighted in today’s keynote.

iOS 13 Night Mode Availability

It’s unclear yet if the new Night Mode option that allows you to snap illuminated photos even in low light conditions will be only available for the new 2019 iPhone flagships or if the feature will be unlocked for the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or even the iPhone X. Apple might choose to save this feature only for the A13 chip phones, out of marketing reasons. We will get back to you with an update once more info will be available on the subject.
Update: According to a local Apple support representative the iOS 13 Night Mode option will be also available to the 2018 iPhones (unconfirmed).
