We’ve informed you since November 2017 that Apple is preparing an oversized version of the iPhone X for 2018. These rumors have intensified over the last few weeks and we can now share with you the expected starting prices for the U.S. market. There is a high possibility for the 2nd generation iPhone X to be sold cheaper than its predecessor. The 5.8-inch OLED display iPhone could start from $899, while the oversized 6.5-inch bezel-free Apple smartphone might start from $999, according to to, Amit Daryanani, a capital market analyst.
Remember that Apple also plans to release a third new iPhone model in 2018, a mid-range iPhone with a 6.1-inch LCD display, that could retail from $799. Names aren’t available yet but we believe that the Cupertino-based tech giant has two important options. Either go for iPhone X Series 2 and embrace the Apple Watch denomination, or the classic “S” addition for a second generation model. Following the same reasoning the oversized flagship could be labeled iPhone XS Plus or iPhone X Plus Series 2.
