The holiday season is almost here and we approach that time of the year when we start tuning up for Christmas. Besides decorating our homes and purchasing gifts we can also fine tune our iPhone for the most wonderful time of the year. You have the option to buy a Red case, install a winter-themed wallpaper, download a customized Christmas jingle as ringtone and last but not least start a virtual snowfall on your iPhone and iPad screen.

Yep, you got that right and there is no need to jailbreak your iOS device to achieve it. Apple has recently updated the Apple Store app with version 4.4. The update talks about iOS 11 enhancements but we’ve just uncovered a nice little trick that triggers a snowfall on your iPhone. In fact, we have to thank our reader Kyle P. for the finding. Read on and see what you have to do to start the blizzard!

How To Start A Snowfall On Your iPhone
1. Upgrade the Apple Store app to the most recent version.
2. Open the Apple Store app.
3. Tap the “Search” icon available in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Type “Let it snow” and you’ll trigger the winter mode. Continue to browse the app and enjoy the snowflakes. Sadly the blizzard will stop as soon as you exit the app.

Fact: The snowfall resumes whenever you return to the Apple Store app, unless you force quit the app or restart your iPhone!
