Apple has released tvOS 15.1 update with SharePlay support feature for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. This release comes alongside iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1 and watchOS 8.1!
Download And Install
Apple TVs are usually able to automatically update and install new software versions. However, if you disabled this feature or if you want to rush the update you can manually do it in:
Settings -> System -> Software Updates -> Update Software.

SharePlay is the new feature included in this version. It allows you to use FaceTime to watch movies, TV shows and other Apple TV content with friends and family!
The feature enables shared controls for playing media, pausing, rewinding, and fast forwarding.
Fact: Smart volume automatically lowers the audio of the media playback when someone speaks.
