Apple’s 2023 World Wide Conference is less than one day away and it’s time to recap the expectations! There are at least 10 predictions that will convince you not to miss the keynote, including software and hardware innovations!

Software Predictions
As usual, Apple is expected to preview the upcoming software generations for their new devices expected to launch in the fall of 2023:
- 1. iOS 17 – The 17th iOS generation should help the upcoming iPhone 15 series to reach its maximum potential and also increase the usability of the current iPhone models!
- 2. iPadOS 17 – Is expected to bring more iPad exclusive features.
- 3. macOS 14 – Apple has started in the past few years to roll out a new macOS generation every year and they should continue with this pattern. The name of the new macOS hasn’t been leaked yet. What will follow after Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura? Share your WWDC23 predictions in the comments!
- 4. watchOS 10 – The 10th watchOS generation will integrate with the Apple Watch Series 9 as well as current models to provide even more features and an increased user experience!
- 5. tvOS 17 – The Apple TV models are also expected to benefit from a new OS generation, that should bring enhancements and improvements.
- 6. HomePod OS 17 – The HomePod mini and the original HomePod won’t be left out from this software update cycle!
- 7. xrOS should be the most exciting software preview of the WWDC 23 keynote. It’s the rumored name for the OS version of Apple’s highly anticipated AR/VR reality headset hardware!
Hardware Predictions
According to recent years, WWDC23 keynote won’t be limited to software previews. We expect that Apple will also unveil the following new hardware:
- 1. M2 Ultra – Should be the name of the next Apple silicon upgrade.
- 2. Mac Studio – An upgrade to Apple’s desktop computer lineup.
- 3. 15” MacBook Air – The biggest ever MacBook Air could be previewed during WWDC 2023!
- 4. Reality Pro – is the rumored name for Apple’s new AR/VR headset. This should be the most exciting unveiling of the day. What are your expectations?
