Looking for a way to remove Silent icon from status bar on iPhone 15? You’re keeping your device always in this mode and don’t need the crossed bell icon, next to the clock, as a reminder? There’s an easy way to remove it!
Silent Icon In Status Bar?
You’re most likely owning a new iPhone 15 Pro model that comes with an Action Button instead of the classic Ring/Silent switch!
These new iPhone models are configured to display the silent icon in the status bar when the mode is enabled! That’s because you can’t tell the status by just glancing at the Action Button which is not acting as a simple On/Off switch anymore.
How To Remove Silent Icon From Status Bar
iOS 17 comes with a setting that allows users to hide Silent icon in status bar:
- 1. Open Settings.
- 2. Tap on Sounds & Haptics.
- 3. Turn Off Show in Status Bar.
That’s it! The silent icon won’t show up in the status bar, next to the clock anymore, when the mode is enabled!
Fact: Don’t see the above setting on your device? Remember, it’s only available on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max flagships!
