This tip might be unknown for all of you that just switched to a Home Button-less iPhone model. So, if you just upgraded from an iPhone 8 or older device to one of the 2018 iPhone flagships you might ask yourself how to perform a screenshot, because there is no more Home Button available. If you’re an old iOS user you surly know that simultaneously pressing the Home Button along with the Side Button triggers a print screen.

However, if you just switched from Android, you purchased your first iPhone ever or simply have never done a screenshot on an iPhone without a Home button before, you might be clueless about how to perform this action. A print screen on the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR is done in a similar way as on the iPhone X. So, if you previously owned the 10th anniversary iPhone nothing changed. 1. Browse to the app or screen that you want to capture.
2. Press & hold the Side Button and in the same time click the Volume Up button.
Fact: Make sure that you release the Side button immediately after the screenshot or else your find yourself activating the “slide to power off” screen.
3. Immediately after the print screen is taken you can tap its thumbnail, available in the bottom-left corner of the screen to markup the frame.

Tip: If a single frame isn’t enough you can capture a whole video of your iPhone’s screen with the help of the Screen Record feature available in the Control Center.
