Apple markets the 2019 iPhone flagships as the most durable and reinforced devices they’ve ever created. However, avoid to push them to their limit because you will end up paying a lot for repairing a cracked screen! Similar to last year, when the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max have been released, Apple has just updated us with the costs of the screen replacement for the 2019 iPhone flagships. As you would imagine, repairing the screen of your iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max is very expensive when done at an official Apple repair shop, outside of the insurance coverage.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max tops the list with a whopping $329 premium for getting the 6.5-inch OLED display replaced. The iPhone 11 Pro screen replacement is priced at $279, while as expected, the “least expensive” is the iPhone 11 display available for $199. Nevertheless, situation changes completely if your iPhone is covered by an AppleCare+ insurance. In this case you’ll only pay a $29 repair fee on top of the $199 AppleCare+ insurance fee, that you fork out when you buy the device!

Important: AppleCare+ covers two incidents over the span of two years. You will have to pay $29 for each incident. If a third screen damage occurs within the AppleCare+ an iPhone screen replacement will be considered out of coverage and you will have to pay the full price!
