Google has recently updated its YouTubeapp for the iOS environment and included support for the iMessage system. This means that you can now also find the YouTube app in the new Messages app drawer available in iOS 11. Sharing your favorite YouTube content with your iOS contacts becomes more easier than ever. Simply, search for the desired video and tap it to share it withing an iMessage. Both sender and recipient are able to play the clip directly in the Messages app, making the experience more seamless than ever.

All that you have to do in order to benefit from this new feature is to upgrade the YouTube app available on your iPhone and iPad to version 12.38 or newer. This can be done from this link or by opening App Store on your iOS device and browsing for the Updates tab. If you set your iPhone to automatically install updates when available, you should already be able to use the YouTube iMessage app.
