AirTags splash screen in iOS 14.4 beta

The upcoming AirTags have been anticipated during various stages of 2020, but Apple did not release them until the end. The new AirTags splash screen that was spotted first during the iOS 14.3 beta testing, is available again in the code of the iOS 14.4 Beta 1 release. Does this hint that that the release of AirTags is imminent? Could we see them in early 2021?

What Are AirTags?

Small Bluetooth-tracking devices that can be attached to an object and help you track it on your iPhone with the help of the Find My app. More, precise AirTags will be Apple’s own and improved version of the Tile Bluetooth trackers.

Previous AirTags Mentions

AirTags have been expected for a long while now. The first hint that Apple is planning to release its own Bluetooth trackers has been spotted in a how-to video. The Cupertino-based tech giant has accidentally released a video about how to erase an iPhone. This happened, more than 8 months ago.
A new ‘Enable Offline Finding’ option could be spotted in the Find My app. It was described as ‘Offline finding enables this device and AirTags to be found when not connected to Wi-Fi or cellular.’

AirTags Splash Screen

The splash screen shared above doesn’t explicitly point out the AirTags. Its called ‘Keep Track Of Your Everyday Items’. It could also be an update that marks the point when Apple starts allowing third-party tracking devices like Tiles to use their trackers with the Find My app. However, considering Apple’s marketing history, this screen will be most likely introducing the new AirTags, before any other product!
