Bluetooth icon missing from menu bar in macOS Ventura? You’re not able to quickly edit Bluetooth status and check connected accessories on Mac? It can be easily added in System Settings!
Bluetooth Icon Missing From Mac Menu Bar?
You’ve recently updated Mac to macOS Ventura and the Bluetooth icon isn’t showing in the status bar? You’re not alone.
Apparently, this setting is enabled by default, but you can easily edit it in settings!
How To Add Bluetooth Icon To Menu Bar
- 1. Open the new System Settings app, from the Dock.
- 2. Click on Control Center, in the left sidebar.
- 3. Change Bluetooth setting to Show In Menu Bar.
Fact: Bluetooth icon should show up in the macOS Ventura status bar!
Tip: Click to unveil quick actions like turn Bluetooth ON/OFF or connect/disconnect nearby accessories.

When I am working from home, I have a small desk so I must use a Bluetooth mouse & keyboard instead of the big wired keyboard and mouse at the office, so I need to access the Bluetooth menu quickly and easily.
As much as I like Ventura’s bright colours (Monterey’s colour scheme is gloomy and depressing by comparison) I do not like the way Apple are forcing us Mac users towards the iPad / iOS interface.
