Apple has just released iOS 16 Beta 4 build number 20A5328h for Developers, as well as iOS 16 Public Beta 2 with the same build number. The new version brings plenty of bug fixes, improvements and new features .

iOS 16 Beta 4 Download

If your device is already running Beta 3, you only have to go for Settings -> General -> Software Update.
Tap Download and Install, input Passcode, Agree with terms and follow the usual on-screen instructions.

If you’re running a public iOS 15 version or earlier. You first have to download the iOS 16 Configuration Profile, from an Apple Developer Account that you already own, or sign-up for. More details here.

If you’re enrolled to Apple’s Public Beta Software Program, you should download iOS 16 Public Beta 2 instead, which will be the identical version of Beta 4!

iOS 16 Beta 4 Changes

We’re currently testing out this release. New findings will be listed below. Point them out in the comments to help out.

  • Display As Notifications Settings have a new, more user-intuitive layout as seen in the nearby screenshot.

  • Edited iMessages now also show the original version.
  • Undo Send Delay in Mail can now be customized. You can pick from: Off, 10, 20 or 30 seconds.

  • Change Focus from Lock Screen icon is now available again!

New iOS 16 features that premiere in this beta are available below:

  • New fonts in Books app including Avenir Next, Canela, Proxima Nova and Publico. (Open Books -> Start Reading -> Tap Options -> Themes & Settings -> Options -> Font)
