watchOS 9 RC Update
The Release Candidate version is available, over-the-air, in the Watch app on your paired iPhone:
- In the My Watch section, go for Settings -> General -> Software Update.
- Tap Download and Install, provide iPhone passcode and be patient until the update is requested, downloaded, prepared, verified and installed.
Tip: The watchOS 9 Beta Profile has to be installed on your Apple Watch, for the watchOS 9 RC to show up. If you need a step-by-step guide, please tap here.
More: You also need the paired iPhone to be updated to an iOS 16 Public Beta version.

Still not showing the notification icon for Now Playing app at the top center of the watch face.
This is absolutely useful for not needing to search for the right app and navigate between your musics.
Thanks for reporting this Felipe. Yes, I can confirm this issue. Let’s hope that this is a bug and not intended behavior.
My Apple watch constantly chimes and watch face alternates between on and off when I plave it on my charger since this new update.
Which AW model please? Have you tried force restarting it?
Assistive Touch is turned off in settings but it is still on.
Are you on the public watchOS 9 release? Did you try to see if a force restart fixes the problem?
