Apple Watch takes forever to restart

Is your Apple Watch taking a long time to boot after updating to watchOS 10 beta 2? White Apple logo is stuck on the screen for several minutes before the device manage to restart? You’re not the only one!

Apple Watch Takes Forever To Restart?

This issue has been reported by Eric:

“Watchos 10 dev beta 2, Apple Watch takes forever to restart. It does boot but it takes minutes instead of seconds.”

Apparently, this is a new watchOS 10 beta 2 issue confirmed by other testers on Reddit.

How To Fix Apple Watch Taking Long To Boot

Obviously, Apple will have to fix this unexpected behavior in an upcoming watchOS 10 beta version.

However, until then you have to be patient. If you have to restart Apple Watch and the Apple logo is stuck on the screen don’t panic. Wait it out, it can take longer than 5 minutes, but ultimately the watch will boot!

Are you facing the same watchOS 10 beta 2 issue? Do you have a workaround for it? Share it in the comments. We’ve reported this problem to Apple. The more confirmations the more likely it will be for a fix to be prioritized.
