How about something really simple for both iPad and iPhone? Like an analog or digital clock plus MM/DD/YY date in small letters right near the clock info … small enough to not overwhelm the screen, but large enough to see easily at a glance. Ideally color selectable to allow picking something distinct (like white face on black background, but no need for exotic junk that makes it hard to see), sizable and moveable.
Thanks for the feedback Steve. There are a multitude of apps providing clock widgets for iPhone and iPad Home Screen. I am sure that you will find one that fits your expectations. Drop us a followup when you do and we will add it to the main content of the article!
And I spent how much for this iPhone and it cant do the basic things I expect? Can’t:
– Turn off auto arrange on Home Screens? Hey Apple get a clue I called this one in on the first versions of the iPhone
– No Digital Clock widget? Not everyone likes a clock face and some of us need to use military time / date without needing to read that teeny tiny time up in the corner and then trying to remember what day of the month it is.
Apple this is basic everyday stuff that even your desktop systems do. I’m ready to return this iphone and go to Android again.
Oh I should download another app to do this …… Why? Why would i want any more apps on my phone collecting more data on me and what I do? (all of the ones you listed do this. I read their EULA’s)
Apple get a clue, give us some basic everyday stuff here that every other phone OS does.
