Apple confirms in the update log that this release brings important security enhancements. Two patches are mentioned in the security document:
Kernel: “An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.”
WebKit: “Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.”

This is a minor update that focuses on bug and security fixes. Apple did not announce any other enhancements. However, any changes spotted are updated here.
