watchOS 10 Beta 3 Issues

These are the problems reported by users for this build:

• 1. Voicemails not syncing to Watch as reported by Apple in the Developer notes.
• 2. Workout Speed or Distance not available after this update? (Developer notes)
  Fix: Restart Apple Watch.
• 3. Alarm clock icon showing up randomly at the top of the Watch Face. Reported by Yugtabub.
  Fix: It will go away by itself.
• 4. Apps missing from Apple Watch if you reset it to factory settings. Don’t reset! You risk not being able to download popular stock apps such as Calculator, Contacts, Wallet, etc. Reported by DanRyb.
  Fix: –
• 5. Workout app crashing in a loop for this Reddit user. Are you experiencing the same?

watchOS 10 Beta 3 Bugs Fixed

Issues addressed in this update are tracked here. Help us determine which of the following bugs reported in Beta 2 have been patched or not:

• 1. Apple Watch charging slow after watchOS 10 beta update. [Status: Fixed / Not Fixed]
  Fix: Reboot device.
• 2. Notifications not working properly. This bug seems to be iOS 17 related as watchOS 9.x AW owners that have switched to iOS 17 are reporting it too. [Status: Fixed / Not Fixed]
• 3. Scroll indicator bug causes a random dot to show up next to the current time on the Watch Face. Reported by a Reddit user.[Status: Fixed / Not Fixed]
  Fix: It should fix itself after some time.
• 4. Third-Party Calendar apps not showing events although they’re granted full access. Reported by lo_es. [Status: Fixed / Not Fixed]
  Workaround: Use the stock Calendar app.

watchOS 10 Beta 3 Download

This update is available, over-the-air, in the Watch app on the paired iPhone, on any compatible Apple Watch as long as the smartphone is updated to iOS 17!

Important: Apple recommends installing beta software versions on a secondary device. Downgrading to watchOS 9.x isn’t possible! You will have to stick with the beta until the public release!

How To:

• 1. In the My Watch tab, go for General -> Software Update -> Beta updates.
• 2. Select the watchOS 10 Developer Beta option!
• 3. Click Download and Install as soon as watchOS 10 Beta 3 shows up on the screen!
• 4. Agree with terms, enter the passcode and be patient until the new software is requested, downloaded, prepared, verified and installed on your device!

watchOS 10 Beta 3 Download Not Showing?

You can fix this by turning off Beta updates and then turn them back On by selecting watchOS 10 Developer beta!

Fix: Reboot both Apple Watch and paired iPhone. If it still won’t work, try to perform the update directly from your wrist! Does it help?
