watchOS 9.6.1 Security Updates

Apple hasn’t published any CVE entries for this update. This means that there are no security updates included in this release!

watchOS 9.6.1 Bug Fixes

Below you have some of the problems reported for version 9.6. Helps us determine if they’ve been fixed or not:

• 1. Motion data access not available for apps that use the Movement Disorder API to track tremors and
  symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease has been fixed! [Status: FIXED]

watchOS 9.6 Download

As usual, this release is available, over-the-air directly on your wrist, or in the Watch app on the paired iPhone:

• 1. View tge My Watch tab and go for General -> Software Update.
• 2. Tap Download and Install when 9.6.1 comes up!
• 3. Provide iPhone Passcode to authenticate.
• 4. Be patient until the new software is requested, downloaded, prepared, verified and installed on your device!

Important: watchOS 9.6.1 not available for users that already installed the watchOS 10 beta on their devices!
