Do you get the What’s New In Game Center popup every time you open an app that supports this Apple service? You tap Continue but the splash screen keeps popping up every time you open a game?

Whenever a new iOS version is released, Apple displays splash screens informing you about the most important new features.

This is valid for Game Center in iOS 15. However, a bug causes the What’s New splash screen to pop up every time when a compatible game is opened on your iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV!

How To Fix What’s New In Game Center Keeps Popping Up

At the time of writing there’s no way to avoid it, excepting signing out of Game Center. This isn’t an ideal workaround but it’s the best that we have:

  • 1. Open Settings and scroll for Game Center.
  • 2. Scroll again until the bottom of the screen and tap on Sign Out.

    Fact: You will stop what’s new in Game Center, but in the same time won’t be able to challange your friends when playing your favorite games!

  • 3. Sign back in to Game Center and this time complete the required data, like input a nickname and whatever else is required. This will prevent the platform to display the What’s New In Game Center splash screen!
