- 1. HomePod stereo pair not working properly after update. No Volume controls for HotRails1277.
Potential Fix: Restart router. - 2. HomePod unresponsive after 16.6 update for mrprofism when using stere pair.

HomePod 16.6 Bugs Fixed
The release notes only mention “performance and stability improvements”.
Apple doesn’t issue a security content document for HomePod OS updates. However, all other .6 version include a big amount of security fixes.
Problems addressed are highlighted here:
- 1. HomePod mini temperature and humidity accuracy has improved after update for several users, including hockeyboi212.
- 2. Dolby Atmos Music plays louder and sounds more immersive after this update according to Mason2612.
- 3. HomePods used with Apple TV sound more louder and fuller while playing movies and TV shows too. Confirmed by Branagh-Doyle.

HomePod 16.6 Download
As usual the update is available, over-the-air, in the Home app. To get it you need an iPhone, iPad or Mac running iOS 16, iPadOS 16 or macOS Ventura!
- 1. Open Home app on iPhone or iPad and browse for Home Settings -> Software Update.
- 2. HomePod 16.6 update will show up!
- 3. Tap Update and be patient until the software is downloaded, prepared and installed!
Fact: If you already updated to HomePod 17 Beta, version 16.6 won’t show up!
