This security issue is, in our opinion, the biggest fault that ever slipped past Apple’s testers in the history of iOS! The privacy of millions of iPhone and iPad users. So, if you haven’t embraced iOS 12.1.4 yet, make sure that you don’t waste anymore time. The update is available over-the-air and can be immediately performed via the Settings app. All that you have to do is browse for Settings -> General -> Software Update and hit the Download and Install button.

Apple informs that this update comes with “important security updates and is recommended for all users.” The package is under 100 MB and promises to eliminate the FaceTime spying vulnerability.

Update: Although not mentioned in the release notes, iOS 12.1.4 comes with a hidden tweak. You can now easily manage your iTunes subscriptions, by tapping on the profile icon, available in the top-right corner of the App Store home page. Select the “Manage Subscriptions” label and you’ll able to track down all your recurring memberships.
Fact: Until now you had to browse the Settings app for iTunes & App Store -> Apple ID -> View Apple ID -> Subscriptions in order to be able to tweak your memberships!
