tvOS 15.6 update with build number 19M65 is available with performance and stability improvements. It’s a minor update which focuses on under-the-hood changes that should enhance your overall Apple TV experience.
tvOS 15.6 What’s New?
If you haven’t updated already and are looking for some new feature to convince you, it won’t happen. Three are no enhancements mentioned in the update log.
More if you browse to System -> What’s New after updating you still get the old splash screen with changes from tvOS 15.4 which includes: support for Apple Watch purchases on Apple TV, picture-in-picture option for Home camera feed and Captive Wi-Fi Networks.
That’s kinda surprising because the release notes in iOS 15.6 and macOS 12.5 mention some changes for the Apple TV, app on the respective devices, giving the users the option to restart a live sports game that’s in-progress.
